What can I expect when I arrive for a treatment?
New Patients:
Upon arrival, please sign in at the reception area with your arrival time. You will fill out intake forms including a Health History Questionnaire and discuss your reasons for seeking treatment with the practitioner.
Returning Patients:
Please book return by online or phone. Our extended schedule provides plentiful appointment times. Upon arrival, please sign in with your arrival time. A short consultation will be assessed when you see practitioner.

ALL Patients:
- Please turn off your cell phone.
- Be respectful and considerate.
- Put all your possessions below your table during treatment and check yourself out before leaving the clinic. Management is not responsible for the loss of your valuables during your treatment.
- Avoid caffeine, alcohol, and cigarettes within three (3) hours before and after your appointment.
- Avoid drinking too much water, having a full meal, taking a cold shower, or doing intensive exercise right after treatment. To maximize acupuncture's benefits on your body, please rest for a while afterwards.
- Wear loose and/or comfortable clothing for easy access to areas up to your knees and above your elbows. Your energy and blood flow better in loose clothing.
- Eat something light an hour or so before your treatment. Avoid being too hungry or too full to maximize acupuncture's benefits for your mind and body.
- Do not wear strong perfume or scented products.
- Needles are typically left in the body for 30 - 45 minutes (maximum one hour).
- Be sure to use the restroom before a session begins. Your session will end if we must remove the needles for you to relieve yourself.
